If looked at in a linear sense, Kakko is a year older and drafted one draft earlier, so this line of thinking doesn’t hold much weight. Not that I’m against him, he’s fine defensively, and could be offensive Larry, first of his kind if he does explode.

kakko is bigger and as a rule bigger guys take an extra year to 2 to adjust to nhl

plus kakko also had to adjust to north america

the conversation was joker for him, which I think is an ok scratch off

we need to explore a few of these scratch offs, like Turcotte, Mukhamadullin and Jacob Perreault types
