Yeah, it’s gonna be an interesting season.
Allen wins 10 by himself imo
Can the rest of the team win 1? - Boss34
I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised with our WR core.
The average fan and media members is going to go “omg we don’t have diggs”
And they really don’t dig into the Bills WRs and see what they are all about. |

coleman, samuel, and either hollins or chasepool is an upgrade over diggs, davis and mckenzie |

It also helps that the panthers have an all star team in front of him. They are by far the best top 9 team in the league. Their 4th line sucks but they barely play.
Other goalies like Tampa have had this same luxury.
Insert any bruins goalie into that system and they are elite.
Put any of those goalies on the Sabres, and they play takes a dump
See Ullmark from the Sabres to the bruins jump in stats. Same goalie different system / roster in front of him |

I believe it is. Beane wanted YAC and better separation.
Curtis Samuel for example on reception perception with Matt Harmon. Matt Harmon lovessssss Curtis Samuel and his route running vs man and zone.
Matt could barely contain his excitement about the move.
His route tree is good |

13. Jean-Gabriel Pageau
Center, New York Islanders
Age: 31
Stats: 82 GP, 11 G, 22 A, 33 Pts
Contract: 2 years remaining, $5 million AAV
Scoop: Eleven months ago, the Islanders traded a second-round pick to Chicago to take Josh Bailey’s $5 million cap hit off their hands. Last week, the Islanders traded down in the first-round – which is ultra rare one month out from the Draft – and received an extra second-round pick in the process. Will Lou Lamoriello use that extra capital in an attempt to entice someone to take Pageau? The difference between Pageau and Bailey is that Pageau has an extra year remaining. The Blackhawks bought out Bailey. Pageau still has game left, but not at that price, and the Isles only have $6 million in space to add five more players.

panthers scored 11 goals
oilers scored 4 goals
bobs save percentage around .950 in the finals
skinner save percentage around .870 in the finals
goalies matter - homiedclown
Oilers defense has been awful though in all fairness. But agree on the premise, the goalies are the most important position in hockey and those who play the position are far superior, mentally and physically, to the forwards.
Long live Goalies! Huzzah!!! |

It is, but you're actually getting a star player back. I'd rather overpay for a star than for a middle6er any day. |

You wanted grit. I was literally giving you grit.
My actually feelings is that is an overpay. But I’m sure the Sens would want something stupid like that. |

Name 1 player that cost that recently, yeah I don't mind overpaying a bit. But that's a lot of future. |

Yup.
I do not see that much on the Sabres.

Yes, but tell me 1 player that cost that much recently. Don't mind overpaying a bit, but that's a lot of future. I want to be good, but hopefully sustain it. |

36 and I have been harping for this guy for awhile.
He should be a top target for Adams. |

I agree it is. Ultimately, Adams isn’t moving Kulich
Ryan Johnson and Rosen - I can see them potentially being moved
And Adams loves his picks. So hell needs to freeze over before he trades them |

Gonna cost more than 2mill to get here IMO, he can float when needed so I believe he is worth it. |

Wouldn't mind seeing a trade for him, but change some of the players. See if Neuchev, Kisakov could be added instead. IMO if I am putting those players into the Deal, than 11 is off the table |

I get it. Take something away then, I thought it was a bit overboard as well, but in all honesty he's the level of player I want to be hunting for. I think we need a big piece to come in, take some load off the kids and we're in bidddddnaasssss. |

These guys just need time to adjust? Roch has quite a bit of Russian talent next season. Time for these guys to show out.

I doubt Kisakov carries any value anymore, but Neuchev should, at least as a sweetner. I'd do that and probably try to battle over one of those picks. I'd still like to pick at 11 if we can muster it, spread the wealth and keep some good ELCs rolling through. But he's the RIGHT guy. |
