He didn’t do to well under Lindy in NJ, what would be different here?

I think he is ready for a breakout season, 60 points

So we should only consider players that have always been good everywhere they have been. Never mind that he was 'ok' in his first full season as a 21 year old - we can't dare project what he could become. Never buy low, only buy high.

its ok sugar. Every once in a while it is perfectly ok to point out that you are limited to snark and not any kind of original thought. The mistake is mine - I'll go back to my side of the tracks. Please, carry on with posting the same thing over and over again. At some point someone is bound to not find them irritating (right?).

$3.25m for a 4C isn't cheap especially producing at a 0.25ppg last season.
He is very good on the dot though.
I'm not apposed to it.

3/4 C for 1 season, with Ostlund in line for the following season. C's aren't cheap, just how it goes.

I'm expecting a 1 year option here, unless they move on from Krebs as well.

Nice lon, thinking outside the box with Sherwood. Pesky Bastard who plays decent defense.

Interesting. I don't think Faksa is going to cost much and the reason they'd move him is to extend Duchene, while the Sabres wanted a temp option to see more of Krebs and give Ostlund another year. You kind of blew that up there.

Almost time, should start to see some action next week.

Thanks, and comes from a decent team that plays a good system.

I really want Duchene, I think he slots in on L2 with Skinner to hopefully maximize his production, and allows that L3 to play the same minutes as L2 to take advantage of lesser competition and thrive.
L4 can play as well, not a bunch of slugs

I'm willing to hold the line on existing D to see what they look like in Lindy's system.

I think it is a good, ba.anced 2 way team that packs a punch in the scoring department.
Kevyn would need to convince Kane and Duchene to come and be significant contributors on a team set-up to do some damage.

Would leave you with some cap problems, immediately and long term.

I know it's just for fun. KA doesn't have that many big moves in him.

I like Duchene to, wanted him last off-season. Don't like him at that that price though. Even though that's what he probably gets or close to it.

“Florida, btw, has the most of stars of any team this year. Cup winners almost always have lots of stars. Don't let anybody tell you different”

“61% of all Stanley Cup Winners (assuming Florida is winning it) since 1995 have had 5+ career stars on the team.”

And all of those stars are committed to the team and play balls out 200ft game, as if their roster spot depended on it.

I'm kind of done with Krebs.
I wouldn't be totally passed if they gave him a year to prove it, but they better have an alternative ready to e 3cute on by mid-season if it isn't working.

He's pricy no doubt, but my thought is
- he helps Skinner to produce while stepping down from L1, Tuch as well
- gives Cozens line an great opportunity to flourish
- improves the FO win % (so does Faska)

He's my #1 target for those reasons. If Kane doesn't sign, they have ammo to make a trade for L3 RW and let Tuch and Quinn play up. Shouldn't cost a ton either.

Ahhh, dreaming on a Sat afternoon.

I'm with you, but I'd rather see him under Lindy for a year than move him for peanuts now.

If none of these kids are ready to contribute by midseason, we should really reassess their drafting + development.
