- gives Cozens line an great opportunity to flourish
- improves the FO win % (so does Faska)

He's my #1 target for those reasons. If Kane doesn't sign, they have ammo to make a trade for L3 RW and let Tuch and Quinn play up. Shouldn't cost a ton either.

Interesting. I don't think Faksa is going to cost much and the reason they'd move him is to extend Duchene, while the Sabres wanted a temp option to see more of Krebs and give Ostlund another year. You kind of blew that up there.

Agree that the Sabres current management would want a short term, 1 maybe 2 years max while giving Krebs more time to see what he is, and allowing room for Ostlund to make the jump to the NHL.

Ah, its funny that you should mention that - I was going to listen to this when I do the lawn later today. I am halfway through the same thing on xpected Buffalo's podcast. I have historically been someone that has been partial to holding on to prospects - the idea of shopping has really started to appeal to me.

3/4 C for 1 season, with Ostlund in line for the following season. C's aren't cheap, just how it goes.
