I would gladly pay any goalie $10 million a year for 7 years if it meant even just ONE cup win.
Florida also doesn’t get there without him, let alone for a second time. - Jet Jaguar BD
Bob was unbelievable last playoffs. They don’t get anywhere without him last season. Tonight was the first game (outside of brief flurries) this playoffs where Bob really had to go goat mode.

funny, last year they would never give him the game puck.
afraid to break the mojo.
Man, I gotta try syncing up radio broadcast with espn feed

Why enjoy winning when you are missing out on potential 3+ years from now. - washedup20
Florida had a 20 year span with two playoff appearances and built a contender around Ekblad, Barkov, Huberdeau (who was later flipped for Tkachuk).
Edmonton had a 14 year span where they made the playoffs once and have a core littered with top 10 picks.
It was all once potential with these two franchises also |

100% right, and it’s a testament to how good of a GM Zito is to build a core around a goalie making $10M a year on top of that.
It’s about time to pay the piper though,
so I hope they do get the ring now before they retool.
Three more wins and I eat my bucket of crow, until then 🤷🏻♂️

Potential....
coupled with poopty management and/or poopty owners.
Results in apathy (after the anger fades...) |

This (frank)ing sucks.
They have been the gold standard.

What a joke. Why does the league not provide this?
"NHL teams that had agreements to use their tools/Application Programming Interface (API) recently received notice that these contracts would be terminated. This led to speculation that one club was buying the site, and all information pointed to the Capitals.
You can definitely see why a team would want this infrastructure. After the transaction officially closes, the website will go dark."

Who cares about those Teams and what happened. The Sabres have had the potential to turn it around a few times. Sh!tty Ownership and bad Management Decisions have destroyed them. In that's the last couple years. |

Have you ever considered that bobrovsky is part of the core? Even if Florida loses they've had a more successful 3 year run than the sabres have ever had. Acting like Florida signing him has been anything but successful is ridiculous
They are going to retool like every good team that's gone on a run because good teams have good players and eventually they get paid. Reinhart scoring 57 while being 4th in selke voting is going to cost them too

Imagine having Barkov and Tkachuk + being a preferred destination for everyone in the league. Dream situation.

3 years before bobrovsky arrived in miami, no playoffs for the panthers
since he arrived, 5 straight playoff seasons
2 trips to the finals
presidents trophy
since bob signed with the panthers, the sabres have 5 lottery picks in those 5 seasons |

They traded Levi and Kulich and still made the Stanley Cup?
I’m so confused |

They may win a cup now, but wow did the Sabres hit a home run as they are about to go on a decade long run of greatness.
Just have patience. It'll happen. |
