I thought that when the Oilers won the McDavid lottery that they were going to be a Cup winning team down the road but then Bobby Burger hired Chiarelli and the first thing that incompetent did was give away 2 picks that could have been Chabot and Carlo for Griffin Reinhardt and that began the destruction of any chance the Oilers would ever have to win a Cup and they have never recovered.

The Panthers are the better team and they will win but what rots my socks is that Paul Maurice is such a slimy sleazebag and that's the kind of team the Panthers are. They play Tkachuk style dirty and they always get away with it. What a collection of scumbags are going to get their names on the Cup!

They only had like 7 shots in the first two periods guys. Sure, there were missed calls on both sides....but common, Cats outplayed them last night. Out muscled and hustled them last night. I think the Oil were the better team in game 1 overall, so it must be really frustrating for you guys to be down 2-0. I’ve been watching the panthers these playoffs and I don’t see the panthers pushing a dirty style of hockey. Tkachuk has been told to tone it down if you paid attention to the team.
It’s a fast physical game stuff happens on both sides.
The Oilers aren’t there yet. Not ruling them out but they will have a harder time winning the cup this year at this point.
CM and LD are the guys that Florida is struggling to deal with and they aren’t able to carry the rest of the team so far.
If Florida stays disciplined and the keep the play 5 on 5 they likely win in 6.

I did not know that it was only 2 minutes of time in the penalty box to do a flying elbow to the head with charging. This is excellent. This definitely changes the game. I say new strategy. We try this more often and take out some of the scores who are making us look like Peewee, maybe we win a game this series
