I think you severely underestimate Lindgren’s trade value if that’s the direction they go. - jimbro83
You think they get a pick added? Or have to add a pick? |

I think Lindgren has excellent trade value but I’m not convinced they are trading him. |

Love the player, love what he brings, 100% effort every night. Unfortunately I don’t think his body will age well even with a 3-4 year contract. |

I get all that. But I still think he’s got more trade value than that |

They may give him a one year deal and bridge Schneider |

Yes very much like it.
This is going 7 now and then the whole state of Florida will be on suicide watch depending on game 7😬 - Slimtj100
If this goes to 7 games all those wanting a PLD buyout will not get it. No way LA buys out at 2/3's his contract value, eating 1/3 would be a tough pill to swallow let alone 2/3's |

When you think about it. If San Jose grabs Goodrow today, and there is nothing else behind the deal, they just want him back for 3 years, ultimately it ends up that we signed Goodrow to a 3 year 3.6 mil per year deal.
And if that had happened initially there would have been so much less freaking out about Goodrow in the first place |

Agreed. I just also think bottom 6 players should come internally. Unless you find a really good quality 3rd line player. 4th liners just can’t get high AAV or term

We will soon see, I cant see why SJ would want him, if anything he might be claimed by another team. He could have been placed on waivers just to be bought out. |

I think we have some decent prospects for the bottom 6 finally.

That Matthew Tkachuk save yesterday at the end was as memorable as Martinook's, useless. |

I still cant see the Oilers winning it, they will be only the second team in history to do so after being down 3 0 |

Why would anyone want to grab him? If he is on waivers it is for the purpose of buying him out, therefore if a team really wanted him they could just wait for the buyout and then sign him for half his salary. It wouldnt make any sense to claim him. |

Well boys, we did it -- Swept the Florida Panthers in NHL94. In game 4 Tikkanen had 6 goals, Gartner 3 goals 2 assists, Messier 1 goal 6 assists, Richter 4 assists, Leetch and Zubov with 2 assists each.
10-0 game four. We stomped 'em. Going onto the ECF finals to face Boston (though in NHL94, I think it was a different name as in this video game Toronto is in the west.) |

Depends. Does GMCD manage the asset correctly? 70/30 says he doesn't. |

Why you ask would SJ claim him rather then wait till he is bought out? If he is bought out then Goodrow has full control of where he chooses to play and if he doesnt want to play in SJ then he wont. If he is claimed by SJ he has no option but to go there |

Weird. Why not just trade him for “future considerations” then?
I’m split on Goodrow, I get both sides of the argument. Personally, I think he’s a good 4th line center that provides a lot of intangibles but we can’t afford his cap hit for what he brings. Would I like to see him stay? Sure. Am I going to be upset if he leaves? I’ll get over it. - nyrangers9479
Can't if San Jose ends up on BG's no trade team list. |
