So the Rangers paid Goodrow about 10 million bucks for a very solid Cup run in 2024
They’ve spent more on less over the years |

Considering all of the complaints here about Drury, I think we can all agree that this was a GREAT move by our GM! Removing Goodrow from our roster without attaching any kind of sweetener was a brilliant way to improve our Cap situation! |

I still can’t believe something else isn’t in the works here with the two teams.
Until that happens, thanks Mike Grier!! |

Definitely a couple great playoff moments for Goodrow but his contract did not match his overall contributions. To get rid of that deal without any cap hit is truly incredible. Will Drury spend the money wisely? TBD.
My kind of people. |

Hell maybe Roobreock makes the team
6’7 6’7 6’8 4th line? You’d be making another baby |

There has to be something eventually coming back to the Rangers. Would be shocked if that isn't the case |

Got rid of Goodrow for nothing, should be a win for everyone. Tom posts some nonsense and says my kind of people to drag the mood down. Where are all his avid defenders? |

Need to add that kind of size to the defense. |

I liked Goodrow but his cap hit was just too much for what he was. Sharks are about to bring in the number 1 overall pick this year. Need leaders like him to help him get used to the nhl game.
The cap space is nice but still think they need a little more if they are going to make that big splash for RW1 |

This is an example of a great move by Drury. Sell high, buy low. Right now Goodrow's value is at its highest in over 2 years probably. We all know he's at best a very fringe, complementary type piece that you hope gets hot on a cup winning team, and that the money he makes needs to go towards the big pieces. |

I mentioned last night I saw a bunch of Kakko draft day trades someone was speculating on, and one was Kakko and 30OA for 14 OA. I think that would benefit SJ wouldn’t it? Thats the penguins pick on the EK trade that we’d be getting |

Good stuff on the Goodrow deal. Wild that if you have a NTC you cannot get traded but we can throw you on waivers and anyone can grab you.
I would like to see NMC / NTC not be a thing. Granted maybe our GMs just give them out like candy too much. |

The lower end guys shouldn’t be getting them, ie-Goodrow. The upper tier guys you can understand more
Drury has definitely had some head scratchers the last few years but at least this one didn’t burn him too bad when all was said and done |

Mickey 8 saying Goodrow wanted this
#NYR I'll rephrase my source is saying Goodrow wants to go to SJ that he loved his six years there, so I wouldn't rule out that NYR "couldn't" get a late rd pick for him from another club. This is simply making Goodrow happy, in my source's opinion and not making him unhappy. |

I wish that were true because that would mean Drury has gotten worse at his job. Sadly, I can't trust Mickey8. |
