What's a good year look like from Byram, Power?

Well Power got 8.3mill for back to back 30+pt Season and a lot complained about him being a Creampuff. What if Byram has a 40+ Season and is decent Defensively. What do you think Byram will ask for ?

Yup, possible.
If he earns $8.0, then I think they found theiir 1st Pair though. 👍

Sure, but then you have 3 D making 30mill a year and Samuelsson 4.2. I have no problem if Byram explodes but someone will probably need to go. IMO

I have No problem allocating more Cap space towards Our D, everyone on here nows I have been calling the Sabres out for Years on there D. But if you do that you are taking money away from your Forward group, Goalie's really shouldn't be a problem for atleast 4 years. So your Forward Cap would take a hit. It would be perfect if we knew what we had in Kulich Savoie Rosen because there ELC'S could help offset that. Adams slow play could actually backfire if those guys suck and Byram blows Donkie D!ck. Should have started the process earlier with a few youngins. IMO

Was surprised about Lindgren, didn't look out of place. I really have NO Clue what Adams is doing. Be really wild if Mitts signs for 5mill in Colorado and what happens at 3C

The Sabres picked up Byram knowing approximately what they'd need to pay him moving forward, and clearly it won't be too much. They needed a top 4 puck moving D with high upside and low age that wouldn't cost too much because of Power and Dahlin. This was done intentionally.

Another reason why they can't justify Jokiharju's new contract. Unless he's under 2.5. Trade the guy, let's go already.

The idea was two fold: change the dynamic in the bottom 9/along the center and add a D in the mold of Byram. Trading Mitts was the long term solution despite Mitts being a better player right now than Byram.
