It's nice that Ruff gives players a reason to waive their clauses. Buffalo is Buffalo and even the cup teams had struggles attracting outside talent. But being good helps. Otherwise you're asking them to take a leap of faith.

Trading for guys helps the stereotypes as well. Greenway, Tuch, Byram, Clifton, they can talk to their buddies around the league.
