They actually did an episode that tested an athletes performance when abstaining and after spending the night with his girlfriend and the results were better after the night with his girlfriend then when abstaining. I think if Risto starts the year playing like he did before his injury this year then he might be moveable with small retention. Risto at $5m ain’t great but at $4m there will be interested teams.

I wonder if Eiserman will be so successful against NHL players. Will he still be able to get to open areas and actually get his shot off? He may be, but Im just not sure how good he will be when he isn't playing against other Jr. players.

I just think there are 12 players that are better options…. The Flyers need to take the BPA…..they need to also explore moving into the 5-6-7 over all. Apparently they are all available…hopefully DB does everything he can to make it happen.
I might have been hyperbole by comparing Eiserman to Bellows the other day…but that’s the comparison I see….a one dimensional player who’s game may not translate into the NHL….he’s the “one” guy that I hope the Flyers pass on.

I don’t think they need to do a buyout. I’m glad DB appears to be looking at trade options for Atkinson. While I agree they need to try to help a vet like Atkinson it cant be at the teams peril. They have enough guys going on LTIR, to really not need cap space for the upcoming year.

I think the Bellows comparison is a bit unfair. Eiserman is a better skater then Bellows. Eiserman to begin the year was rated #2 behind Celebrini. Not sure Bellows comparison should carry that much weight when he was a better goal scorer then Caufield and Conner.

I would be slightly disappointed if Eiserman gets bypassed for Yakemchuk or D#ckinson. Eiserman has the higher ceiling. A good debate though.

This move isn't in a vacuum. It sucks they are in this position but think about the nuance needed. I realize YOU DON'T CARE, and it IS THE RIGHT CALL...but stupid poop like this matters in hockey more than any other major sport. Bullpoop like the Yandle Scandal reverberates around the league. First with hockey guy media types then trickles down into the actual player pool.

As a guy who has no skin in the game i'd NHL 25 the whole team and restart (can you still do that? I last owned NHL '98) but that's not how this works. The Cam thing is a THING. The whole league is watching. It's not super dramatic as all that but honestly, you can't (frank) this guy over

I get it but at the same time Vegas hasn’t had a problem with any of this. Players will go to places with a lot of talent in order to win or will chase the money.

Flyers should allow Cam and his agent to find a trade that doesn’t involve the Flyers giving up any assets. Otherwise, he plays in the bottom 6. If they end up trading any of TK, Laughton, or Farabee for picks he’ll easily have a lineup spot.

Parekh is no question the most offensively gifted defenseman, in previous years I believe he would fall, but teams that are successful today tend to have that offensive juggernaut rover.

Every team has it's own perception of players which makes it impossible to do mocks, but I make my own ranking that the highest player available has to be the pick (which I'm positive every team does).

I have D*ckinson above Eiserman. Now is Eiserman in my top 12, I do, and I would be very ok with the selection depending who is else is available. I definitely believe there's going to be at least 1 "Coyote/Detroit" pick where they select someone outside the popular rankings.
