Not sure the validity of this site or if this info has been reported on elsewhere but this would be great news on a number of fronts......

Like some are saying Demidov measuring in at 6ft 1/2 and 190 lbs might move the needle and if Michkov is indeed coming over that'll help too...... Someone correct me or corroborate this. Thought I read Demidov is looking for a stick supplier in the US. Anyone hear/read that?

I just don't know if one guy leaving the SKA St. Petersburg changes things but I am sure their ownership won't be happy if another exits.
Maybe it is out of the teams hands...

If they're not going to let him leave the country why is he in the States now? He could easily just not go back.

Alright, can we all agree to leave this poop out of our posts? To pretend that one side tells the truth and the other lies (i.e. good vs bad) is the most shortsighted and stupid argument. Both sides lie, both have some good ideas as well as poopty ones. To literally paint half the country as rubes who just don’t know better is pretty insulting (either way), and does not help one bit - nor does it make an argument stronger. It's one question after another, Wiz. Like the injury reports on Demidov from across the world. We all heard he was shut down cuz of a knee. Now that he's here we find out it was his knee (twice?) AND is ankle.

My hope is the Hawks get all the info they need, corroborate it, to feel comfortable making a decision whether to draft him or not.

Get the dynamic duo like towes and kane and maybe in couple years kk and rizal time will tell how this roster shapes out. Davidson doesn't have to do it all in this off-season but keep building year to year. And he thinks the time is right then go and sign those 1 or 2 last pieces of the puzzle.
