Teoscar has more HR's than Vladdy, Bo and Springer combined. Neat

Varsho has as many Home runs as Moreno and Gurriel combined.

1. Salmon - cooked, sushi, belly, steaks, filets, everything.
2. Duck
3. Beef - especially flank, burger, hot dogs
4. Pork - bacon, ribs, ham, hot dogs
5. Lamb - loin chops to my face

shoutout to walleye

- Zezel

Cedar Plank Salmon is exceptional.

I'm a pretty big chicken fan - mostly thighs - either bone-in/skin on or the boneless, but it's not like I haven't eaten a nation's worth of chicken wings. Chicken is just so versatile - it pretty much fits into any cuisine.

Duck is awfully fatty to me.

Lamb Chops are great - seriously. In a hot oiled pan - rosemary, thyme, lamb sear, flip, butter, sear - eat.

Love a plank salmon.

Yeah I left chicken off but it's so ubiquitous I probably shouldn't have. The meal I have cooked the most other than pasta is whole roast chicken in the oven of various kinds. Must have made hundreds of them. Season, in the oven, done.

If you're looking for anything positive to say about the Blue Jays, I guess that's it. They went into the series against Boston 3.5 games back of a wildcard spot, and 1.5 games back of Boston.

Now they're 5.5 games back of the wildcard and 3.5 back of Boston. That's largely due to mismanagement of players and misapplication of those players in poor times.

The fact that we sit here with a team that's going to be paying luxury taxes to at least some teams that are ahead of them in the standings and there's been literally no accountability at all. No one is to blame. No one's been fired.

Frankly the guy in charge of this poopshow at Rogers should be replaced and then every soul downwards in the chain. It's tragic how bad they are and how little anyone seems to care in the organization.

Of course I've always liked chicken, but the air fryer does make me love it all over again. My air fryer is the Cuisinart so it's not large enough for a whole chicken, but a friend of mine got the larger one and loves it for chicken.

I do have an oven which does "air frying" but it's just too large. The real difference between a convection oven and an air fryer, I think, is simply the smaller space in these air fryer ovens which moves the air more.

i would think that if they run out the season stumbling the rest of the way, there will be changes. whatever atkins has done over the last 3 seasons has neutered the offense . just a boring team to watch with little excitement each game.

i just turned down going to a couple jays games next month, not worth putting out my money to cheer maybe once a game.

I'm biased, I had it in Italy on my first night (fresh caught) and from then on just kept getting it every time I could for half the days meals.

Just to recap what I think I've seen here:

fake is big on Hertl & Theodore
I think underhill is big on PLD +
You are big on a trade with Columbus or Anaheim featuring some of their younger players . . .

For the record I'm also not a huge fan of Hertl. He's a big guy, but he's on the wrong side of 30, signed at basically $7m until he's 36 and he's never been a PPG guy. Theodore would certainly be nice, but he has just the one year left, so it would depend on what was added to him. But with Vegas I don't really see anyone with Theodore who moves that needle enough.

I loathe PLD.

. . .and with the young guys from Anaheim or Columbus, I'm not sure we have the luxury of that time - like I'm sure Johnson, Fantilli, Carlsson, Gauthier or McTavish will all be impactful players, but it's likely going to take them a couple of years to get to where they start to be who we need them to be now.

The challenge with any Marner trade, speculated or not, is that we basically can afford to lose some of his offensive production if we supplement it with a stronger defense, push some of our stressed defense down in positions to lesser roles, reduce some of our cap stress to perhaps gain real insurance in net in case Woll remains injury-prone or is truly unready for day-to-day NHL stresses - and some facsimile of him up front. I don't know if we can afford to lose time and that's the problem I have with getting too many futures.

- Monkeypunk

You're not wrong as always Monkey.

PLD (50% retained) + Clarke + now UFA Matt Roy + Berube = strong D and cheap #2C who doesn't have Richard shrink in the playoffs.

Marner for PLD (50% retained), Clarke and 1st maybe....that's worth it to me. LA is perfect for Mitch, could really do well with them.

This is how I see it:

Knies, Matthews, Domi
Tavares, PLD, Nylander

Rielly, Matt Roy
McCabe, Brandt Clarke
Beniot, Zadorov

For me, being able to round out the D with 3 RHD, one really underrated and one cost controlled and potentially beast-like and a giant badass, is awesome on it's own. That's what the Leafs could do without the Marner $ issue.

Adding PLD as a $4.25m 2C at the right age for the next few years and only losing a more and more expensive Marner and then JT's $11M off the books, what's not to like?!?! JT is done-ish, pretty sure a 2C replacement would be a fuk of a lot more than PLD at 50%.

Call me old fashioned but this team could be ridiculous with moves like that.

Oh that was satisfying. I was hoping to see a few garages burn down or guys stopping, dropping and rolling, but still quality infotainment.
- Zezel

If you dig a little deeper on Youtube, there are definitely garage burnings.

A buddy and I deep-fried one once.

It's kinda like going to see NASCAR - you have to do it once, but never again.

Gonna give a shoutout to tuna steaks and ostrich steaks.

And for those of you hatin' on turkey, you're drinking the wrong colour of wine with it.

Pair it with red.
