I dont mess with a good thing. I use regular old crappy process slices..i dont like them otherwise, but for a grilled cheese imo they are the best.

iv experimented with lots of others and combos..but a thick slice of process just melts perfectly for a GC sammich.

Don't get me wrong, I can also appreciate a good sammich made from Kraft singles. The good old "American cheese" which is not cheese. I grew up on it and still have a weakness for it. And yeah, I only like it grilled. For a plain coldcut sammich, I prefer a sharp cheddar and/or provolone.

Same for Mac and Cheese. My wife makes a good homemade mac, but I still like the boxed Kraft stuff because I ate 20 metric tons of it as a kid.

i don't mind some variations but I always go back to the classic, thick white bread (texas bread), real butter, a thick slice of process cheese (Kraft single thick).

Another option is good cheese (whatever works for ya) for the flavour topped by a slice of processed cheese for the melt.

totally..kraft singles have 2 uses for me, on a burger if there are no other options and grileld cheese.

we never ate boxed mac n cheese, but a homemade mac n cheese... yum!

To up your grilled cheese game, use better cheese and don't skimp on it.

Two thick slices of cheddar jack and one slice of provolone.

Directly into my facehole as we speak.

For more crunch use mayo on the outside of the GC Sando instead of butter or margarine.

Great game though. It didnt look like the number 1 team in the world against the 48th...except in mid field passing

Uggh ...that was a lot of football and a lot of beer yesterday.

I need a spicy breakfast and a nap.

I debated all morning - hit my local and watch the England game, and then run home for back to back meetings at 2 pm, or just stay home.

I ended up staying home, which was probably the right call. Being an England fan is exactly like being a Leafs fan.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to leave work early on Tuesday - my air conditioner has a torqued-out bindle rotor, and that's the only day the guy can come to fix it.

Pro tip (seriously, learned from a chef/friend) grate your favourite cheese inside ..and sprinkle parm on the outside and give it a quick turn. The parm is magic.

My phone just told me that Giordano's agent said he's not ready to retire.

I have no idea where he'd play. I love him but I think he's done.

I had modest plans but ended up on a patio in Lil' Italy for the game. Great stuff ...then suddenly it's 7:30 and my wife has evening plans and Canada is coming on. Stumbled home around 11 ...I think?

Must be hard for players to actually admit they're done and they're just not gonna win the cup.

There's no way a serious cup contender sees Giordano as a solution to one of their need and is there any point to go to a rebuilding team as a veteran presence at this point?

Maybe he always liked Utah?

Sigh… I used to date and live with the girl who is the 4th generation owner of the cheese shop in the downtown market right across the street from where the Knights play….

Man I miss the free top end cheese in my life
