I think Drummer is right on Talbot, get him on a 1 year deal and have Blomqvist ready to go the year after.

The biggest variable would be where Jarry goes and does someone come back. Toronto would be an ideal partner as they don't have roster goalies needing to come back but I expect they will sign Brossoit.

Buffalo also doesn't have a goalie under contract. Id gladly take picks for him and he might be a decent option for them. I'm curious where Samuelsson stands with them. They already have Powers and Dahlin as LDs. If he can stay healthy he would be a nice long term add for us.

I thought Samuelsson was a smart suggestion, but Buffalo's GM reportedly said they aren't moving him just last month. They do have a lot of LHD ahead of him and it seemed like he will lose his spot next to Dahlin to Byram. All their top guys apparently play either side so that's how it likely sorts out. Maybe he can be pried away, but it might take more than Jarry.

Yeah, I saw that too but at some point Adams can't just make everything about the value to an individual and he has to start assembling a team. Look at what has happened with LA and their massive load of prospects and picks.

Having Dahlin, Powers, Sam & Bowen as LD when the rest of your team has no depth is pointless. They will have to either give less minutes to someone on have them play their off side where they will be less effective.

Another interesting bit of news that popped up is McGroarty refusing to sign with the Jets and now being on the block.

I'd expect Dubas will be kicking tires on him. If you could get him for say Ponomorev and a 2nd this year I'd be all over it. Throw in Poulin just for fun too.
