Lmao please stop you’re smarter than this

The broadcasters are HUGE Edmonton supporters, flip over to the American broadcast and they’re essentially saying the opposite each and every time lol

Americans have never been right about anything, except Jesus and methamphetamine. God Bless this Meth.

So if Florida loses to go 4-8 over the last two SCFs...we'll at least know they actually never were contenders at all this entire time.
- Zezel

Getting to the Finals two years in a row is no easy feat, but yeah, you gotta bring home the hardware or it means very little in the long run.

Now this series is a coin flip.

I'm still giving the edge to Florida based on Skinner turning into a pumpkin and Bob regaining his form that got them there.

Looking back, I'm not sure the #leafs have ever made a bigger mistake than letting Zach Hyman walk away. That's an all-timer the organization never recovers from.

Always gotta dunk on the Leafs. Clicks for chicks.

How about, "FLA sure could use some Hyman right now. I bet they regret giving up on him..."

I'll take the best player on Earth in this one. That and I like it when goon coach and goon team start losing and feel the necessity to punch the best player in the world in the face because they are losing.

At the end of the day, the move to keep a poopbox like TJ Brodie over keeping Hyman was probably Dubas' worst move. That's all it would have cost to keep Hyman. If they fired TJ with a second round pick into the sun, Hyman would still be a Leaf.

Pesky facts. There have been a lot of big mistakes, to be fair. Not sure this is the biggest?

Imagine being an oilers fan right now. It’s cup or bust.
- shack67

Any fan of a team in the finals going into game 7 would feel that way.
There is no negative here

I openly admit that so what’s your point? lol
- Dozzer

That the call on the ice shouldnt have "stood" and there was enough evidence to overturn it.

Because Florida are the finals again and havent been looking for a hyman (badabum!) every year for the past several years.
Like the leafs have.
Would be my guess.
Plus the leafs are an easy target for almost everything

I saw this in the web.

https://bosshorn.com/blog...oudest-nhl-arena-decibels

Sportsnet also had this

https://www.facebook.com/...fGomrM4g/?mibextid=oFDknk

The second one is not scientific by any means, but it all seems to occur during the first round and taking during intros....so probably not the loudest the fans could get

I blame Cush. He's clearly not cheering loudly enough at all these playoff games he's attending.

What's more Leafy... Blowing a 3-0 series lead or forcing game 7 to lose it?

Forcing game 7 to lose it, they're the kings of that.

So you're saying fans should cheer for the team.

I am still surprised that so many Canadians would gladly hand over the nation's most historic trophy to a team based in god's waiting room. Rather than see Canada's Cup come home, they want to see it sullied and dirtied by a bunch of turncoats on bath salts.

Trudeau is taking notes and the RCMP Is getting the warrants drawn up.

Repent now while there is still time.

Jealousy weaves a wicked web!

But in all honesty, i wouldn't want to ever see the canucks, habs or sens bring a cup back to Canada.....maybe even Calgary since theyve been Iggy-less.
Everyone here has those list of teans, Edmonton just falls on it for some.

I bust balls, but I also get it.

I'd rather see Texas North win it over that bunch of swamp-dwelling rat chuckers.

Plus, we need to witness if McDavid really is the Messiah as foretold in prophecy.

The d was poop and they needed Brodie who was good then.

The hindsight poop move was signing Mrazek and handing him 3.8M. That meant they had to be tight up front and opted for Ritchie (2.5m) instead of Hyman.

Never understood what they saw in Mrazek.

I don't think they saw anything in Mrazek. It was more about the Leafs flailing around desperately for help between the pipes and grabbing at anything that came along - Mrazek, Murray, Campbell, Hutchinson, Dell, Rittich.... it was a (frank)ing poopshow there for a while.

Come next Tuesday morning, preseason betting will favour the Oilers winning the Cup next year. Could they win two in a row. Back to back Cups are highly unusual.

It was ..but that 3.8M choice meant they had to go cheap up front. Ritchie in ..Hyman out.

For sure. I liked Hyman. I would have kept him.

I don't think anybody could have seen this coming though. Dude went Super Saiyan playing next to McDavid.

I wonder if they'll win the first one first or just skip ahead and win the second one now.
