I'd keep the cap.

Obviously the players union might have an issue but if college players not signing with who drafted them then just extend the teams signing rights for two more years but keep everything else the same. If you don't sign then you waste years of earning potential.

How anyone could have been slamming Coburn when that trade we made to get him still one of the best if not the best of the 00 flyers moves. Not like we even drafted him we were more or less gifted him

And add cash đź’¸ in deals again. I do not see the flyer succeed with a hard salary cap. They won't flattened out, or do smart deals. Even if they have some luck they do 2-3 things that sets them behind the eight ball again.

When there were rumors about Walker possibly going to the Jets at the trade deadline, maybe Briere was laying groundwork for McGroarty. A winger with size is a piece this organization is lacking. Pure speculation.

It won’t happen because Gauthier and McGroarty are friends and the Flyers already didn’t bend to the demands of Gauthier’s same antics BUT it would be VERY entertaining to see the Flyers trade for, and sign, this guy. It would be Twilight Zone stuff.
