Well if it’s set in stone Michkov is coming over (I’ll believe it when I see it with Russia) this should certainly make the Flyers a little more willing to part with a winger in a trade. Get this kid a center.

Looks like it’s signed but because it’s so late in Russia SKA won’t announce Mickov leaving until tomorrow, after which the Flyers will make their announcement.

Good. Continue to shed salary. I don’t expect them to be incredible no matter who is added to the lineup but if this kid could be a potential superstar, difference maker, let him be.

To be fair, the Hawks went out and got Taylor Hall, Nick Foligno, and Corey Perry last year after drafting Bedard. They are still clearly rebuilding.

While I’m inclined to believe the Flyers have never meant to do a true rebuild, those moves don’t really indicate it either way.

I would still think the likelihood of any trades are the same today as they were yesterday.

I’m not gonna assume or stereotype both the player or the coach before we’ve seen proof of overseas discrimination. Marian Gaborik had one of his best career seasons under Torts with the Rangers. I know Torts really liked Artem Anisimov.
