I think they are solid core #1and #2 centers.

Probably between the mid 10-20 as a pair .

Last year had some injuries and cozens was just off

I've been giving some poop to Evolving Hockey on some of their contract projections (like Joe Pavelski 3 years 7.4M). However, they're usually pretty spot on for the mid and lower tier contracts.

DeMelo - 4 years, 4.909M, 36% highest probability
Mittelstatdt - 3 years, 5.8M, 28% highest probability

I can't think of any of the 16 playoff teams that are weaker than us

throw in the hawks, wings, sens, devils


and what about crosby/malkin over the next 2 years vs tage and cozens?

Okposo - 1 year, 1.193M
Girgensons - 3 year, 2.012M - 1 2 and 3 year term was relatively equal chance. 1 year deal was 1.203M
Jost - 1/2/3 years, about 2.05M (A fair deal!)
EJ - less than 1M for 1 year

I’m not in the least concerned at center 1 and 2. Nor the 4lw.

Both are very good players and signed long term

I’ll worry about finding a 3c like Sam Bennett and a couple other upgrades at forward .

Maybe upgrade the 4th line center who played 80 games and scored 4 goals?
