It's like Sweeny thought the market for goalies was drying up and he panicked. The SCF wasn't even finished when he made the deal - seems rushed.

Will be a project. Likely at minimum 2 years out if not more. I saw on Ty's twitter feed that Sweeney wasn't taking questions either until after the draft. Kinda cowardly. I think he knows he poop the bed.

And it's not like he HAD to be traded before the draft...

Nah. he is WAAAAYYYYYY too busy preparing for the draft and free agency to do that particular function of his job. He obviously has to do it all himself and doesn't have a team of management helping him prepare for either of those two events.
