Yeah a million times. I rage everytime I see or hear we don’t want to be like Buffalo tanking loook at where it got them etc etc etc. I’ve said a million times glasses screwed Buffalo by trading high picks to try to rush rebuild once they got eichel trading for nhl players instead of proper build through draft around him. Fast forward to now with mm. Does db follow that path or add young talent through draft next 2 seasons? We shall find out shortly.

Damn. All Reinhart has done is been a pt a game player since the trade with 57 goals this year. He would be the best player on the Flyers. Flyers got the 6'4" guy who likes to go out of position to hit somebody because that's what they look for.

It also goes to show you that better coaching and better situations can lead to good things.

For me it’s the narratives like “need top end talent” used as punchlines without the willingness to do what EVERYONE sees and knows how to go about it that drives me insane. Oh I am. I would’ve been gone had they not drafted mm. It bought them time. I just can’t deal with another coots type deal for another decade. Simply not worth it

Mittlestadt re signs in COL for 3 years. Center market about to get some clarity. Think Lindholm ends up in BOS. RFA center market could make some interesting trades.

-Yes they could be better, but what does that do? They are not a legit playoff or cup contender.
-Yes that cap goes up. That doesn't mean i need to give out bad contracts. Michkov is not going to get a bridge deal after his ELC. Why tie up money in an ageing vet who I don't think is going to be much better than he is. Save the money and use it on players I think will be part of the future.

There are plenty of other veterans. Are you seriously attempting to imply that if they trade Konecny, it would then be a team of 21 year olds? That's a lack of common sense on your part. Not to mention not understanding that at this point in time. The Flyers should not be expecting to win.

You're incorrect about that. Teams trading for him at this point in time. Likely would not be looking at him as a rental and would have full awareness that he needs a new contract. It was just recently when you were posting that Utah might have interest.
