I’d sign Raddysh for another year, maybe he’ll put more pucks in the net and KD can move him at the TDL. It’s not like he’s currently blocking anybody.
- Angotti

Yeah there’s no harm in a one or two year deal. And, like you say, if he can score a few goals some team will be looking for additional scoring at the TDL.

Every time I see this name I can't help but think of Kenny "No-Check"

- Rota's Rooter

Maybe cause JHawk has typo’d his name a couple dozen or so times and called him Yaremchuk.

It’s subliminal now. Also very close spellings so there’s that.

KD made the statement when he took over he's tired of seeing other teams develop our players. Then he went and traded Kirby Dach but Dach had a much bigger contract coming than Reichel. I think 27 still has several more trips to Rockford if needed.
- rpeters01

Thought I read that Reichel isn’t exempt from waivers anymore. He could be lost for nothing if they attempt to send him to Rockford. That could be a factor if he is indeed being mentioned in these trade rumors.

Agreed. It wouldn't hurt to have him as a bottom 6 forward or even the 13th forward. I get the sense that he's been positive in the locker room, so there's value there. I'd give him another shot at regaining his 20 goal level or finding other ways to contribute.

You are correct. Reichel will either be with Chicago or traded, I doubt they risk losing him on waivers for nothing.

IMO it is either Raddysh or Joey Anderson, both are 26.

Sign 1 of the 2, that is 11 forwards signed. (excluding Guttman and Dach) 9 if Nazer and Slaggert start in the A.

Well that would explain why Draisaitl didn't look like himself.

You see what Yzerman did there, right? He traded marginal defender Andrew Gibson to Nashville, got a unsigned 18 year old Finnish RW prospect (3rd rounder) Jesse Kiiskinen (who isn't small) from them and sent Nashville to get the Tampa Bay 2nd rd. pick to pay San Jose for clearing Jake Walman iof the books...

There is always a strong refain her about over paying bottom roster fills but Stevie came out all right on this one...

Hey Steve, hope all is well and you’re enjoying the new job.

That series was allot of fun and most of us didn’t have to deal with heart palpitations watching it. There’s talk about draisitl being injured, I’m not so sure Tkachuk was close to being healthy. But of course nobody was without some injury but those two were way off their respective games.

I say no chance on Zegras, skilled yes, fast yes, but soft as a baby’s behind and worse he likes to start poop then hide behind teammates or refs where his mouth still goes 100 mph. And there’s no way that fits in with your sensibilities. Can you imagine that twerp playing against Florida? But someone, I think Dots, suggested acquiring if you can buy low, give him a season racking up regular season points then trading him high.

I've been sober the last 7 months so maybe thats the problem but in what world does Reichel play a more appealing physical game than Marner or Zegras or any of these guys people here complain about being too soft or whatever?

Talk about a guy who backs away from contact, stays on the perimeter and is mentally fragile...

But somehow him not scoring or being dangerous in any capacity is more appealing than guys who at least produce. Weird.

I love how eklund loves to sell everyone here on the hawks being involved in every single free agent. You and I know this is not what Kyle Davidson sold us on when he tore the hawks down to recycled goods. The moves I see Davidson making are similar guys to foligno or domi, but nothing like Necas or anyone else. These types of moves being spoke of hamstring the future of the hawks. I see the hawks improving next year on the ice but not adding these overly expensive guys who want long term deals. We tore down the team to recycled goods to rebuild within, and If we go back on that, we might as well go and bring bowman back. We are looking for holdovers to hold down the fort until the kids are all ready nto go and blossom. It doesn't move the needle much to bring in a necas or marner or teuvo. We can bring in a domi or something else along these lines to help us add a few more wins, but, no way we go and sign anyone young and long term with a big cap hit. Maybe that kid from columbus, but he's cheap contract wise.

I don’t think that they’ll trade Jones, as they currently don’t have a RD to replace his 25 minutes of TOI, especially with Murphy and his injury history. I was hoping that they would sign DeMelo or Chatfield, but they both have resigned with their respective teams. KD will make a trade in the next three days, we’ll see who is all involved. Three days to go ladies and gentlemen.

They allegedly will if they draft the kid from MSU.

JR .... :] one of my all time favourite players. Not sure why Larmer has not made it - but as it stands now, Belfour, Chelios, and JR - all in the hall ... now that's why I loved watching the Keenan era.

JR, Belfour and Chelios where the main reasons I became a Hawk fan as a kid.
