I agree 100%. I said back in January that he will end up about $9.5 per, and that seems to be the magic number.

I have been a Flyer fan since March 10, 1980. I have been so patient, constantly defending them when everyone else in my family were Canuck fans, watching them repeat the same mistakes over and over, like it is going to work one of these times.

I am literally at my crossroads with the team.

The position they are in right now, they have a chance to shape the future of the team. Hard decisions need to be made, but so do the right ones. Resigning TK, instead of moving him for a pick and prospect is the absolute worst decision they can make. To most here, it is a no brainer.

Pretty sure I am done as a fan when the summer ends. I am giving them until September, but if we enter the sesaon with basically last years crew + Michkov, I am not the least bit excited. I just can't watch this crap anymore, knowing it will be like this for another decade. I am so sick of being less than mediocre.

Big summer ahead, and a huge weekend. I hope they choose wisely.

I’ve heard Badinka mentioned if he’s still there at 32, Surin could be a fit too. At 51, I like Luca Marrelli. Appleyard says he projects well to the NHL and Wheeler had him going there in his last mock draft. I like Misa too. McKenzie’s ranking today has Misa closer to their 3rd rd pick. 2 other guys I hope they look at if they start to really fall are Kiviharju and Justin Poirier. Flyers don’t have a 4th unfortunately but if Poirier gets there I’d take him. Very undersized forward but is a scorer.

I don’t think so. Chicago is an obvious no. Anaheim and Columbus each have a big future #1C so I’d say no. SJ would be the one team that might but Smith is going to be a very good 2C for them behind Celebrini. Though, Celebrini and Michkov on a line would be nice to have. Many Montreal fans are pissed and pretty sure he told Arizona to shove it so they didn’t have much of a choice.

Especially when they will have four (Tippett, Foerster, Farabee, Michkov) wingers that are or will be top six wingers next year.

TK is the best asset they have. They need to trade him.

I feel exactly the same. Been a fan since I moved to the area in 97. It’s the same nonsense over and over and that gets me.

I am super excited about Michkov but at the same time if they don’t properly build around him what’s the point. We watched the goddamn Panthers win the cup last night. It’s like every bad franchise has had gotten good/great since the last time the Flyers were relevant. Hell, Utah has a slew of picks too. They’ll probably be next. League continues to expand too. It’s not worth following if they don’t ever learn from their mistakes.

Any interest in Connelly or Yegor Surin @ 32. I'm really hoping Chernyshov drops. I expect Briere to dip into the Russian prospect pool again. They do deserve credit for the business they have gotten done in the KHL.

I doubt they trade him. But I do wonder what Boston is going to do to address the center position. There’s not many UFA options. Will they try to work a blockbuster deal to get Leon.

If Danny gets creative with some trades I think they could get him. Not sure he makes it to 32 with only a year left on his KHL deal but an intriguing prospect to watch out for.

Not sure they go winger in the first at all tho with the needs at center and defense.

I think they could pull off a pick swap with OTT. I do wonder if finding centers to.play with Michkov has gone up in priority. Instead of hoping to get Helenius or Catton @ 12, just get a pick swap done with OTT and get the center they want.

The cupboard at center is so bare, it kind of makes sense to get a high end center now. Tough choice - Catton is
more dynamic with a question whether he can stick at center in the NHL. Helenius- not much doubt will play center, ceiling not as high. I think Briere chooses Catton in this scenerio.

Wouldn’t shock me if Danny is aggressive and moves up. I kind of want them to make two picks though. A centre and a d. Maybe Laughton and bee get dealt and some later picks.
