He's not mentioned as an elite defender in any of the talking heads I have heard ever. Good defender absolutely, very good yes probably but elite?

What stats say he is an elite defender his lack of offense? lol

If he is go elite why does Tampa want to dump his contract to resign an aging Stamkos?

Maybe he is much better than I think and is simply out shadowed by other Tampa D men who get all the mention and glory but again if he is so elite it makes zero sense for Tampa to get rid of him considering the contract they have with him.

I don't want him as a Leaf at 5.2 I can guarantee that.

I thought you were talking about Tanev

It's Dom Luchezsyn "value" list. It's ok but he's got some particulars bias's that influence what he thinks a guy is worth.

But ...the Coles' notes ...

Leon - 13.5 x 8
Rantanen - 12.9 x 8
Sid - 10.8 x 3
Mitchy - 11.7 x 8
Verhaeghe - 8.7 x 8
Konecny - 8.8 x 8
Boeser 8 x 8

Theodore 8.6 x 8
Hedman 8.3 x 3
Slavin 6.5 x 8
Ekblad 7.6 x 8

- The Law

Thank you

I suppose i could live with marner at 11.7

Maybe they've gotten better?

“Fanatics did a great job designing these jerseys," Auston Matthews said. "They feel comfortable and look breathable, which is important during games. Any little detail that can help us perform at our best makes a difference.”

“I love the jerseys," Quinn Hughes said. "The Canucks logo really pops on them, and the fabric feels airy and breathable. They’re really just beautiful jerseys.”

Or maybe Hughes and 34 get paid by Fanatics?

- The Law

Those quotes sound totally natural, and not at all like they are written by some P.R. flack.

The Fanatics retail stuff is garbage quality but the Fanatics Pro stuff is really nice. The downside of course is that you can only buy the pro stuff when the team sells off extra/old stock. When they first started doing this you could get amazing deals but those days are gone now for the most part sadly.

The Adidas retail merch was/is actually quite nice IMO but I guess it'll all be Fanatics now.

- Cush29

To each their own, and lord knows I spend my money on stupid stuff, but I've never understood why people want to pay more money for game-worn stuff.

Unless Gretzky wore it to hoist a cup, it's not going to grow in value.

You're just paying extra money for a jersey that has small rips and tears in it.

And the tie-down strap is hella uncomfortable to lean back on.

I don't mind Roenick in the Hall.... but Mogilny should have been considered before him.

Even before Shea Weber mind you.

I'm not going to take the bait set out for me above, but...

Roenick has 373 more regular season games than Mogilny. I'll remind you that the HHOF inexplicably puts GP above any other stat when considering new members.

Although I would argue that Mogilny could easily be considered in the Builders category, for defecting and being the leading edge of the wedge for getting Soviet players to be allowed to play in the NHL.

I have a practice-worn pair of pants that still smell like Phil Kessel's hotdog farts. I wonder what that's worth to the right collector of sports flatulence memorabilia.

I don't mean the 'player worn' or 'game worn' stuff, that's not appealing to me at all.

Te stuff I bought and they occasionally sell is 'team issued' but never actually issued or worn by anyone so essentially overstock PRO Authentic stuff and it's not jerseys but rather all the other swag like t shirts, sweatshirts, coaches rink suits etc.

I have a pair of skates that I used for a few years from Guy Carbonneau. He got a few different options for a new seasons from CCM, he tried a few pairs for a practice and ended up not using the ones he gave me.

He played barefoot in his skates, ultra tight skates custom made to his feet.

I saw an interview with Judge Rynhold (SP?) the other day and apparently the original script / action was supposed to be a potato in the tailpipe but Eddie Murphy said something like Banana is funnier use banana and they ran with it.

Eddie was right - banana is funnier.

Now look at this gif and tell me you aren't singing in your head "you ain't got no ice cream, you can't afford it and your parents are on the welfare"!

- Cush29

And banana in the tailpipe is now a classic. That gif does rule. Better than McDonalds?!!!
