If it is two firsts and whatever else that would allow Toronto to really redo the makeup of that team. #6 this year would get you get a good D or center. A 2025 first would probably still be top 10ish. The cap space would allow you to add the players you want in FA.

I believe Toronto's socks would need to be knocked clean off before they trade Marner. I think Utah definitely wants him.

Not a bad move if it involved getting some young talent or draft capital….it’s not like TO wouldn't just turn around and sign a Stamkos or something on those lines. Utah has a lot of young talent and the owner has a mitt full of $ and wants to make a splash.
