Two firsts and two seconds next year. Could be more depending if a couple of guys like Hall & AA are having decent seasons and moved at the TDL.

Looks like the plan this draft was to get some bigger guys with grit that still skate well and are up tempo.

I'm just hoping that we have at least 2 centers out of all this that are just a royal pain in the pass to play against. You look at all these rosters for the playoffs and that is such a key ingredient in playoff success.

I think you need to take this guy's criticism seriously as a point of learning how the Hawks can get better. After all, his Ottawa Senators were a charter member of the NHL starting in 1917 and they won the Cup 4 times between 1919 and 1927. After that last Cup they started drafting very poorly like KD is doing now and the results since then speak for themselves. He has been pointing out these mistakes since 1928 and nobody in Ottawa listens so he's just sharing his advice with a new team's fans.

Show one link where anyone has said Chicago’s draft was an all time dud or even mediocre. I’ve seen nothing but As and A pluses. Maybe being a fan of a team that is and has been dreadful for probably your lifetime I’m guessing you don’t understand you build a team with a strong defence. You don’t understand that every draft has lots of strong forwards but usually not as many good defensemen. Chicago has two picks next draft and one will probably be quite high and next season there look to be allot of very good forwards and very few good defenseman.

Well, you are allowed to have you opinion, no matter how off base it seems. We came away with the best defenseman in the draft class, some very solid Center prospects and some of the best skaters in this draft class. You might be sad about the poor state of your team, but the Hawks did well this weekend. Cheers!

It's hard to take you seriously when these kids haven't even played a game and you think they are busts.
