Manson for jones and a conditional 1st, in 25 or 26
Kakko and Trouba for Walman

Beefy defense
Miller Fox
Lindgren Schneider
Walman Manson

San Jose Rangers west is born

Idgaf what the metrics or injury concerns are, Ryan Lindgren is a player you win with. I’d sign him, I really hope they do

I love Lindgren as a player. But not sure investing in him long term is the right move. He’s way to injury prone and every playoffs he’s hurt/gets hurt. He’s not big enough for the style he plays (which I love). Smart move is to get some assets and cash in. He’s Girardi 2.0

I think he’s got one more contract in him. The pros out weigh the cons in his case imo. The guy replacing him could be older and not as good

“The 6-foot-3, 183-pound defenseman dominated the testing, finishing first in four categories and blowing away the field in a couple of them.

Emery finished first in the horizontal jump, vertical jump and no-arm jump.

His horizontal jump of 123 inches is the longest on record in NHL Combine history. He beat the rest of this year's field by at least 4.7 inches.

His vertical jump of 27.23 inches was 3.6 inches higher than second-place Jett Luchanko.

His no-arm jump of 23.57 inches was more than an inch higher than anyone else at the NHL Combine.

Emery also tested out with a body fat of 3.64%. The second-lowest was Ethan Procyszyn at 6.84%.”

Ok I’m sold! Kid is a freak.

Wonder what the return would be. Gotta be something of some value and not a pure cap dump

Copp makes more than we’d be saving on Trouba for 3 more seasons so definitely not that

Yea unless they ate money which probably doesn’t make sense for Det. Maybe it’s just picks and they use his money elsewhere

Detroit has cap issues of its own, theyre not gonna take Trouba without sending a contract back, or theres retention on Trouba’s contract.

If they are eating 2.5 million per year, I hope it’s just picks. Otherwise they won’t gain any cap space in the end

It would be awesome to get some 2nd or 3rd round picks back. Rangers need some trade capital

That'd solve our RW issue. There's your #1 and #2 RW.

Thing i'm hesitant about is how many years they'd sign for. I know next year is as good as ever to go for it all. But after that we need the room for Igor and Laf.

There is no way in hell they sign both haha. That’s just a TJ pipe dream. But one is very possible
