Well, the logic behind that is there are deals to be made, deals with teams that may not be on Trouba’s list or teams that simply dont have the cap space to accomodate him. So if you can trade Trouba to get something you can flip to another team it works out. It essentially becomes a 3 team trade.

Its gotta be one of Stammer or Kane, and Id prefer Stammer because of his positional versatility. We also have no clue how much Stamkos actually wants in a contract, even at 34 hes still one of the best in the league. The other thing you cant help but wonder is, does he bump Zib from the PP? Does this actually make us use 2 PP units with Jones as QB on the second?

Stamkos > Kane > both is my order of operations

I’d rather have Stammer on the top line RW (or 1C and push Zib to the wing) and then fill out the roster with 5v5 impact players

Adding both is too big of a risk that could strain the rest of the areas we need to improve on the roster makeover
