There’s definitely an NHL future for Berglund. He’s got a 6-foot-3 frame, is big at 209 pounds and can muscle his way past anyone. That size has allowed him to adjust to SHL games with ease while also bullying around his own age group in U-20 action. Berglund has done a solid job offensively internationally, but those have come in spurts. For me, he fits the mold of a bottom-six center perfectly – he’s defensively responsible, he’s strong and can move well, too.

I am being sarcastic. The draft is a crap shoot after the top 10. Even then you never know. I like to get a sense of what type of player they draft but outside that I don’t really get worked up about the draft outside of a few high picks.

I'm trying to remember all the evaluations of the past draft picks of the Flyers...seems about the same.

Recently who has panned out? Brink...believe he was a 2nd and they traded up for, struggling to stay in the lineup at 23. Zamula...I like his game, nothing flashy, but could become a nice 3rd pair. Cates...decent role player.

The rest...all former 1sts.

Still waiting on Rubstov, he had a great profile when drafted too.
