Agreed. The team should have identified the need to balance the Core with forwards and d-men. Unfortunately, they gambled on the squad of finesse forwards to navigate the hellish pit that are the playoffs.

I think most players at the end of the season have an idea if they are coming back or not and where they want to play or what they are after. Zadarov either wants his big payday or wants to be in a different city.

Demidov at 5 looks like a steal early on.

Tanner Howe and Ryder Ritchie were both guys expected to be 1st rounders at the start of the year, getting them in the 2nd is a pretty good move.

Henry Mews is my favourite though. Can't believe he went in the 3rd round. He was super good for the 67's. Luke Misa in the 5th is a cool gamble.

Always fun that the kid that was a potential racist got selected by Vegas. They truly don't give a (frank) what people think.
