Toronto is positioned to strengthen their blueline. Some creative negotiating is required, but Zadorov and OEL remain prime targets in addition to Tanev.

It's a 7th round pick in 2026. The likelihood of that being a competent NHLer is 5.5%. In like 7 years after being drafted and developed. Tree won't be around so he don't care.

Also, it gives them a roster player in the top 4 this coming year in their open window.

I don't really care for it cause Tanev is over the hill injured, but I understand the logic.

Sure. I agree. I don't really like Tree just getting old dogs if that's his target this off season. We just got rid of Brodie. I don't know if they are trying to see if they can squeeze what is left of Tanev for an ENTIRE season?

Depends on what Nashville needs and wants. Both not gonna break the bank capwise. Great AHL numbers. Untested NHL. Dont make it out to be Carey Price. Could just as easily be Kari Ramo.
