Kevyn identified a piece that he thinks is an upgrade at 3C. He's fast as (frank) and above 50% on faceoffs this year. Not going to pretend I'm super familiar with his game but I appreciate Kevyn taking a swing. We'll see how it works out. I like it.

My quick thoughts:

Stinks to see Savoie go but he was the guy they were offering teams all summer in deals. Helenius made him more expendable.

Wow you miss curfew and you get traded? That’s a almost as odd as if you have to love Buffalo before being traded here

Well now move Krebs and Ostlund for Ehlers and I will be happier

Agree, but the Buffalo tax is hefty. Overpay is our only option. Didn’t want to see Savoie go, but we do a quite a few similar players

He put up 26pts a year before last.. 4 less than Mcleods career high of 30.

Krebs is 2 years younger played 4 less games and has 9 less pts.

I'd keep Greenway and throw him on the 4th line. He is a good PKer. Get Ehlers and the roster would look so much better:
