Use him. Having center depth is nice, having Ehlers is nicer.

Its good to hear people say that. In hindsight, it isn't surprising that the minor moves came first as it is harder to make bigger trades. I think there are still another two moves coming and that one of them will be second line wing. We are that close to having a really great offseason and being set up for the year. I don't see him stopping now.

Why is Zegras being faded so much? Wasn't he hurt last year? Before the start of the season there wasn't enough gold in Ft Knox to trade for him. I like the idea of Vatrano, but if the Ducks wanna do something dumb and make Zegras available, the Sabres should be all over that. Gets Tage to wing. That line would be dynamite.

Kyle Okposo won't be playing top line minutes so gotta be a few I agree

It's only an overpay if Savoie is a very good player. There is upside/potential to McLeod, there is just way more with Savoie. Way more chance he's just nothing too.

Sabres either do moderately well or very badly on this trade. Time will tell.

Benson Mcleod Kulich/Rosen

Tage and Cozens are going to be with the team for awhile. Helenius plays center, a couple of their other prospects are playing/can play center, and McLeod (provided he works out) will be your 3C for a few more years, at least.

Does his Salary Arbitration on his last contract have any affect on his next contract for McLeod

Zegras is a winger Hatty and Zegras is alll offense. Another Skinner. IMO NHL Gm's valuing big two way players who can skate right now. Copy cat league and that finals was Awesome.

I think I'd want farabee over zegras. Probably minority there.

But, you get great center depth where he can jump in and play middle 6 minutes if needed.
