I admit I am doom and gloom about the sad state of the Sabres. This trade will be the one that is sneaky good. Maybe just signing high priced gun slingers works out but we would still need a capable 3C. This guy has it. Very impressive in the playoffs.

No those guys were either cast offs of players who played on good teams. I told my wife that we were good in 06-07 with guys who werw decent in other teams and when they got here… magic. Cannned lightening. Etc. hold out hope.
