How was the bottom 6 heavily influenced by Ruff ? Everyone and there Mother knew the Sabres were going to have to do that. I think Ruff got blindsided with how bad it is here in trying to get players to say YES!

Last year he said the Assistant Coaches were all going to get fired ... Never happened.

He's a joke of a GM never qualified in the first place. He hasn't done anything in 3 years to make this team better. Last year he just assumed everyone would have a career year again. This year he is assuming the top 6 will be better because the coach he waited all year to fire isn't here anymore.

Lance Lykowski, the perennial optimist, said he looks leaner and more in shape this year. He posted a video him facing 3 shots, 2 of which hit the post. He looks like a guy who just tries to play big and hopes the puck hits him. Very little reaction to releases.

I'm always ready to pile on Terry but Gerbe's post saying that this was a Lindy condition makes sense to me. I'm guessing they wanted a replacement but captain conversations couldn't close the deal so they panic bought Zucker as a plan B (plan D?)
