I kind of want to see a Zucker Cozens Tuch line. I also would like to fire Krebs into the sun.

Peterka Tage Quinn
Zucker Cozens Tuch
Benson Kulich Rosen
Malenstyns Lafferty Greenway

At least with that team, I have two lines that check, and two lines that if everything goes better than right I will have some firepower from. Do I think Benson, Quinn, Kulich, and Rosen can all be effective next year? Highly unlikely, but at least there is some hope and something to watch for.

If the third line is greenway and krebs, and Benson is floundering on the second line, I don't think I will be able to watch them by November. Like it or not the only way this team can ever be better is if they hit home runs on prospects.

It's my understanding that Kane doesn't want to play in Buffalo, which is pretty bad that the hometown boy wants nothing to do with playing here even if paid well.

Stamkos was never going to happen

Terry is delusional and Adams is just a yes man when it comes to that.

Adams certainly is leaving the next GM plenty of prospects for the next one to trade though...

I don't think any GM could convince Kane to play in Buffalo.
He was never coming here.

That's fine but he said last year's team, I am glad he reworked the bottom line. But probably the easiest thing to do in the NHL next to Bottom pairing LD.

The middle 6 has question marks, no question. Going to have similar problem to last year. With a 4th line more of less set, once they find a 2nd line that works, do the leftovers make a good 3rd line?

Relying on Krebs should keep him up nights.

Very Sabres-y offseason. I'm more bummed about the Coyotes. Whos the next captain? Tuch?

IMO Rosen and the 3 russians picked in 21 will be worth next to nothing in another year

Time is flying by. It hit me the other day when I saw Reinhart is 28. He's the one that got away

Guess it really depends on who steps up in Camp. Time for Kulich to turn the Corner. Unfortunately I don't think it will be at C. 3C is a very Big ?. Is Lafferty gonna be there or Krebs. I would still call the Islanders and see if JGP is available.

Like I said earlier, add a C, then you need to move Krebs. Unless you magically fit them in the same deal, you need 2 trades from a GM who kind of sucks at trading for players.

Isles look kind of set. A bubble team, just like Sabres.

And the next GM won’t matter with Terry at the top. The only way anything actually changes is if Terry sells the team or hires a real, qualified, experienced President!

Does one still live down the road? Not that I have faith he can rebuild that torched bridge.

Thats it, those are the only two options. Anything else will be cheap, inexperienced front office with Terry looming over all. Which is his right as owner, but it certainly makes for a garbage, dumpster fire product.

Hire a good GM and the president is irrelevant.

trade Krebs and a blah prospect for Pageau

trade Joker for Trevor van Riemsdyk

the team is then on par with tampa, caps, boston and islanders IMO

Incorrect because the president IS Terry Who looms over all and doesn’t know poop about the NHL, like his wife before him. Unless Terry hands the keys off to someone else to sit on the yacht or sells, doesn’t matter who the GM is.

It wasn't Terry holding this Team back the last 2 years in moves and Trades. It was Kevyn Adams and his hesitantation, being scared to lose a Trade, and "You Have To Want To Play In Buffalo". There were Trades to be made, Top 3 just didn't do it. Pegula has been a Horrible Owner but right know it's just having a BAD GM!

was the owner too cheap to allow adams to fire a few assistant coaches or did adams tell ruff he had to have these assistant coaches

I can't recall any recent coaches not being able to pick their staff

Terry is also President of the Bills. Amazing what a difference a good GM makes.
