If TK signs for 8 years $64M, I would be fine with that, wouldn't you? TK clearly is not the scorer Guentel or Reinhart are, to me the market has been set for what TK is worth. If TK wants to hold off until next off season, the Flyers will trade him at the deadline and everyone will be happy.

Who cares if he would or wouldn’t have been? There was a potential 1D available. Fell into their laps. You’re rebuilding. You take that player 110% of the time. Bad teams make decisions like that. It’s why they stay bad.

And then to admit that they drafted based on need is even worse. And then they proceeded to do it for the next 6 rounds. Their draft has been bashed by most every analyst.

Based on my limited knowledge of what I read about him and the gut feeling I get. I think Jett is going to be a pretty good player for the Flyers. However I don't get the feeling that he is going to be an all star level player or has potential to be elite. Maybe he has those hidden variables that are missed and he becomes a stud. Who knows. However when I read up on Buium, there are skills and talents that pop out that says with some of those elite skills, he can be a difference maker. It's the thinking process of how they went about it. Why they said they passed on Buium. I feel they passed on a potential top pairing puck moving transition defenseman, so incredibly important in today's NHL game for a potential strong 2nd line center.

The only players traded off the roster in this "rebuild" are Hayes, Provorov and Walker.

They went center heavy in a draft that had very little center prospects. Of course that doesn’t mean there won’t be NHL centers that come from this draft, but it just blows my mind why the Flyers always think they are smarter than everyone.

I like that he is younger and appeared to be a quick riser. I am hoping the kid is a player and takes on a large role w/ the Flyers in the future. Everyone of us should hope the kid turns out to be a good/impactful player.
