Yes Reichel can be claimed. - LAHawk
Thanks LA, so no Rockford for him, I'm hoping he and Nazar have some chemistry, like Kurashev and Bedard. |

I'm not sure, did anyone come up with a final answer about Reichel, if he can be claimed on waivers? - BetweenTheDots
He can be. They signed him for a reason. Let him get out there for 30 games and let's see what he's got. Maroon's fat ass can sit in the pressbox. |

I think its fair to save any criticism i might have until I see the roster at training camp.
I'm fairly certain, I won't be fair.

Decent day for KD. Glad he stayed away from Stephenson cause he really fell of last season.
Bertuzzi is an okay-ish signing if you just expect his normal~45 points and TT should help defensively and the PK with some offense.
MAronn can break his hand on someone's head instead of Foligno since Foligno can still play some.
Martinez might be good guy for Kaiser to model his game after.
Not sure what Smith has left but this is a better line-up than watching the Johnsons, Raddysh, Katchouk, Blackwells flounder all over the ice.. - Elbows15
Agreed on Stephenson. Just because they played on a SC winner, doesn't make them a great pickup. Stephenson had some of the worst metrics on their team last year. Not the end all be all, but a concern with a 30 yo player.
Your last sentence is spot on. I'm going to enjoy not watching T. Johnson pout after each game. |

I agree, Maroon is here for giving players a break out of the press box. Or if a bottom 6 player gets dinged. |

The only pick that from the draft that is worrisome is Boisvert. He had tunnel vision on him. I think there were 4 players better rn and have higher upsides.
Vanacker is a good pick. He is a guy they watched quite a bit and guys that team find while scouting other players or keeping tabs on one of their own have a funny way of working out.
He killed the 3rd RD, imo.
FTR, I wanted Demidov, too and I really hope Levshunov is more Pietro than Jones. |

Damn, Nashville is set up really well. 19 players signed for next season with $4.5M left. Not ideal, but they already have:
Forsberg
Stamkos
Marchessault
O'Reilly
Novak
Nyquist
Josi
Skjei
Schenn
Saros
Not to mention 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and 3 3rds next year. - Chunk
And Flyers asking about Askarov. A handful of prospects in their AHL affiliate Milwaukee including Le ‘Heroux |

Ya, I would've taken Demidov and Eiserman. I'll be watching the
Leshunov/Boisvert vs. Demidov/Eiserman comparison for the next decade......

Even going into the POs I was liking Stephenson from previous seasons but I really thought he looked like he lost a step and speed was his game. Then I saw the metrics and was, please no.
See buttheads, I do change my opinions when its warranted. |

Even in a throwaway season for Reichel, he still had some wow moments. He needs to step up and just (frank)ing play. I watched a decent bit of him playing as a 17 year old in a men's league and he never played scared. He needs to get back to that.
I think he lost confidence last season and at the NHL level, confidence is just as important as talent. |

I thought he looked great at the World Championships this year (once he finally got there). If the Hawks get that guy for most of the year, they'll be happy. And there will be a few less whiny posts here. |

He's not really driven much offensively in quite a while. From what I can tell, he's basically D!ckenson without the PP or top line minutes. |

I like Hage more than Eiserman. Mainly cause of position but also Hage has overcome adversity already while Eiserman is described as kind of pouty.
TBF, Eiserman is still 2 months from being 18 and going to BU should really help him grow up.

Just let him play one position for more than 10 games, whether center or wing.

My mind set was more like this, everyone kept saying that the Ducks were going to draft a defenseman? Blackhawks take Levshunov and the Ducks don't take a dman or Demidov? Same thing with CBJs, they rather take a chance on a kid who has back issues than Demidov? If the Ducks drafted him i would of been like damn, if CBJ drafted him because Waddle did draft Svechnikov kind of the same but they avoided him as well. As always though time will tell.
If Levshunov turns out to be the next Pietro, Doughty or Seabrook I'll be very happy with him on the blue line. |

KFC didn’t want Patrick Kane for 1x $6.5? I’d much rather 88 be on Bedard’s RW than Bertuzzi. 47 points in 50 games last year. He and Bedard would both be PPG players on the same line. |

Supposedly Boisvert hockey IQ is off the charts. I keep reading that in the evals and supposedly makes some plays that are holy poop plays. We'll see oh yea and he has that relentless drive to be a better hockey player.
