It won’t be his fault but I can see the fans turning on him

Supposedly the will veto a trade even if it’s on the approved list

I don’t know how he can if it’s no longer a NMC. Unless he told all teams I won’t show up and play if you trade for me

From brooks:
There is no guarantee that Jacob Trouba would accept a trade even to a club on his approved list if that means leaving his wife and nine-month-old (as of training camp) behind. It is not as if Dr. Tyson-Trouba can pick up, transfer her credits to another hospital, accompany her husband and still be licensed as a physician.

We are told that has become part of the league-wide conversation, with several teams that otherwise would have been in big-time on Trouba now likely to wait until next year when Dr. Tyson-Trouba’s residency ends with the defenseman having one final season on his contract.

Someone had brought up Buffalo before, and for this reason Buffalo makes a ton of sense for Trouba. Its closer to Michigan and it wouldnt require his wife to apply for accreditation in another state.

Also, the Rempe affect is in full swing in NJ. Cotter and Dillon added this year and McDermid last season. They also drafted a 6’7 dman that plays physical also. That could just be he was a guy they liked in that range (projected around there anyway) but they’re definitely becoming a more physical team. Added Noeson also who plays with an edge.

Just to be fair, you have to give Drury his due in this regard

Imagine if you will, KK and Trouba to Toronto for Marner, straight up, money works, but no Drury needs to give the leafs a first just cause he’s an idiot, done?

Well if he wants to get him it would cost more than Kakko and Trouba. If he could pull that off he’s a genius

That Drury is drafting bigger players that fit the mold of who you want on the team (or at least from my understanding). Am I wrong?

I hope Drury clears the air with our Captain, but it's too late now.

All the other Ranger players must be in shock what they're hearing and reading, just like us.

Drury is screwing with the team way too much.

He'll never create the "love" vibe in the locker room that Bill Zito (GM Florida Panthers), and every Panther player post Stanley Cup interview I heard, that said the Panthers locker room this year was special, all players had a true love for one another.

Drury is destroying any chance of that ever happening under his watch.

FA's will never come to NY and play for him. Drury has shown his true colors and will dispose of players without even talking to them first.

I understand it's a business, but the players know it's a business as well, and deserve to be included in the GM's plans.

Drury should be fired.

In less than a month he has destroyed the Rangers organization to sign any future UFA's and demolished our team chemistry in the locker room. All the accomplishments and the President's Trophy means nothing more. Drury destroyed it all.

I'm so disgusted with his treatment of his players. Think about it, if you were a UFA, would you play for this guy?

Drury in a tough spot bc he’s trying to improve to win and undo mistakes him and gorton made. His communication with the players seems to be the problem about he has gone about things. Not transparent enough

Players expect to be moved, whether it be via Waivers or Trades.

Having the respect to talk to your player first should always happen.

He's destroyed our organization. Maybe all of you guys will see it when we don't even qualify for the playoffs next year.

Dolan should fire him today.

I am in shock that Drury destroyed such a good team and such a well respected organization.

The Rangers are now the last place any player wants to play for.

I bet Kakko, and others hope they are traded away from our classless organization.

Time to move on. If Trouba is with the club I don’t for see any issues with the team. All the wannabes GM and the druey haters take a step back. The man is not dealing with strength financially. I was okay not spending like some gm’s did yesterday and winning the cup just became harder. That’s sports it’s a business. It’s not perfect, but I’ll always love the boys LGR.
