Q is the better coach but you have to give credit to Berube that he did have success with his defensive team to win a Cup.
Leafs have the money to pay them both to do what they're best at.

I heard earlier that they thought coach q would sign as an advisor of some sort and not a head coach if he was to come back. That was a couple months ago but who knows. |

Negative $800K for Cap Space so if there are any improvements to the forward group, someone has to go.
Lily and Robertson = ~$4.5 - 6m depending on Robertson RFA deal.
If we could snag a 3c/2LW for Lily/Robertson, Leafs could be in pretty good shape. D is better and it didn't totally suck before. G is better, at least 3 decent goalies deep. And a coach that isn't a wussy.
Marner is staying....probably... so:

Ya I think that was the interview I was thinking of to. But apparently he wanted to coach someone in the Atlantic? I can’t remember the specifics but I know when he said the leafs were an option. |
