I’m sure with teams striking out, Eller might have more interest. Seems like this is what happened with NYR going after Smith. Plus, NYR avoided a long term contract when they have quite a few contracts expiring in the next 1-3 years.

Me to. It's just this season I am going to up my game to the 8-9% IPA's instead of the 5-6% I currently enjoy. That way the 2nd and 3rd periods will be more tolerable because I will be more inebriated....

25% retention probably helped Rangers with their salary cap and thus why they got the 2nd. And not a 3rd or 4th. He’s been a pure cap dump for back to back years.

They should be about the same as last year if Sid and Geno stay healthy. It'll still be fun to watch the games, even though they'll just be scraping by to try and stay in the WC race. I enjoyed last season despite them missing the playoffs again.

Hahaha you were in here bashing him just a few days ago saying no one would want him. You could do worse than him for less than a 4 mill cap hit in a contract year.

You can swing a C to the wing so it isn't a terrible problem.

Acciari is also a much better wing than center. And Hayes plays RW. I’m not worried about a C bottleneck.

How is Eller or Accari not traded yet? We have too many C’s.

Many of us have been saying Accairi would be better off at wing. Hayes can definitely play wing. It is squeezing the young guys a bit if 4C isn't open because that's the best spot for Poulin, Ponomarev, or Gruden, though again they've all played some wing.

GMs are kind of busy today, so I'd wait a little before panicking. I will feel better once it's done though.

Man I don't see it. A lot of guys played over their heads down the stretch, but at some point I think they really miss Jake. And asking for a third straight season of a healthy Sid and Malkin.... I could see a complete train wreck.
