The first question my friend asked was if I thought he was heading to GR. I was enjoying clips of Pav at prospect camp when that came through.

You can see a couple of the prospects “in awe” seeing Pav there in the coaching warmup suit. I guess they got to watch some clips of him as well. Maybe we’ll poll on jersey retirement. I forgot some of the insane things he did, is that retirement worthy? At least hoping for a “Pav HOF” night

Triple Gold....the only thing he didn't do was drive the zamboni, but that's only because he couldn't get his Russian license translated in time!!!

It would be very cool to see Fedorov and Datsyuk together in the rafters. When they did Lidstrom’s they had the different awards he had won on the ice. It was a very cool ceremony. My wife has an SD card full from shooting pics that night. Seeing Pav today skating around, I forgot how much fun it was just to see him get on the ice. Lots of great memories and a generation of kids who saw his highlights on youtube. Man he was a special player.

I also defended Yzerman over his 1st round pick as we none yet know if Eiserman will pan out in the NHL... A new window could be opened if Veleno goes to Arbitration. Last year the player had to have a cap hit of 4m. So only Husso could be bought out. But that only makes sense if he’s a locker room cancer that can’t be placed on LTIR and you’re looking to sign Tarasenko to a 1 year deal or something.

Yes I'm aware. I'm 25% Russian. But it's been translated as Fedorov, yet people repeatedly use Federov. Not singling anyone out here. I see Federov everywhere. This isn't that complicated.
