They he should be able to turn average players into 30 goals scorers. He obviously doesn't need Matthews in your opinion, and the last 2 years Matthews has shown he can produce at elite levels playing with either Nylander or Domi. Sounds like a win win moving Mitch away from Matthews. Would hurt Mitch's defensive metrics I bet.

Apparently, Nylander has signed a new $92 Million contract, and he did it 3 times.

Faksa is 6'3", 220, 54% FO% and can score 10-15 goals regularly and 79 games of playoff experience.

Not a giant improvement but a significant enough one that I'd have offloaded Kampf and taken Faksa as his replacement happily.

Kampf scored 10+ goals once in his entire NHL career. So again, yes, it's an improvement because Faksa averages 11.4 G/82 games.
