What Simmons was saying was true. He missed the end of last season and didn’t get into the post season due to this injury. He didn’t get much attention as a free agent either. Multiple people reported this in the spring as well.

Benoit will be the third pairing guy this year too, he was only top 4 last season due to a lack of anything better.

I find that hard to believe. I'm not a knee expert or anything, but neither is Simmons and client/patient confidentiality would dictate that some rando Sun reporter idiot isn't getting insider knowledge of the results of the diagnostics from a team in a different country.
