Also, Hawkintuah is not broken. Fuk Simmons. He had the same surgery as so many others have had and the recovery time of 4-6 weeks suggests it was more of a minor surgery as opposed to a major injury.

Short memories.

Martin Jones from December 12 - January 9 - when we needed him, was excellent. He had 11 starts and 8 of them were quality starts with a .935 save percentage in those games.

From January 10 onwards Jones made 9 starts and 2 were quality starts and in those he had an .860 save percentage.

Martin Jones has been a terrible goaltender for years. That 11 game span of excellent play shocked everyone but don't let it colour your memory of him.

He (frank)ing sucks and would have lost the series to Boston in 2 games.
