I guess I could have said Texas and California, but Wiz said his was a non-political post.

Funny how it always ends up there.

I hear the first question was, "if I come back, do I have to go to class?".

After the dust settles or I think of the duet song by Luther Vondris and Janet Jackson “The Best things in Life” (1992).

The best things are not free and take time to construct. After the dust settles is at least three seasons away if you are looking for a deep roster not only running mates for Bedard but competition for spots on each line + a blueline crew each who can skate and effectively move the puck. I do have doubt whether we have a stud goaltender in the system; Comesso may be just ok but elite meaning among the best in the league is not probably yet in the rear view mirror. Perhaps Gajan will be more than Comesso

I ADD: Big hope KK could develop like Vlasic improved after a year in Rockford. Leveshunov needs minimum two years transition from USHL then Rockford and to be good after one year in AHL is to expect maybe too much too soon. I can imagine Vlasic, KK, Leveshunov and DelMastro if all goes well but a replacement for S Jones could be Allen and a replacement for Kaiser I think should be a really gifted offensive dman. Perhaps Rinzell fills one of those spots. Allen and Crevier could become spares depth

For perspective, I grew up in Chicago (Park Ridge). After college/MBA my company moved me from CHI to KC (5 years), LA/OC (2 years) Boston (6 years) and back to Chicago's NW suburbs.

I spent the last 22 years traveling for business all over the Midwest, from OH to NE/KS and from ND/MN to MO/IN & KY/TN and everything in between. Spent lots of time in Torrance, CA & now Plano, TX where company's HQ has been located. I've been to 46 of the 50 states, missing only Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho and Wyoming.

Retiring in October. My choice of all the places in the USA to live was Boston. Very like Chicago (sports & politics dominate) but run WAY better than CHI/Cook County. Plus easy to get to the ocean, Providence is great, as is coastal Maine, NH & VT, all a short drive away. And NYC is easy to get to as well. Unfortunately, wife wants to stay in Chi's NW suburbs.

But Boston is the place to be, with a vacation home in Hilton Head.

Boston is great. Also, Providence is also a fun town.

On the under-appreciated front, I'm a big fan of Chattanooga.

If I didn’t have family I’d chose Portugal, low cost of living, nice climate, inexpensive and quick access to anywhere in Europe.

Never been to Chattanooga, but I love Nashville, except for the humidity.

Lookout mountain in Tennesseee/Georgia sounds like a near area to tour. Nashville has grown and so has crime. Some crazy politics made news not long ago. A pilot who I graduated high school with absolutely loves his home in Nashville area Nashville is a very clean city/streets well maintained clean and they have Shoneys if you like breakfast, Country music is big, right.

Levshunov’s rep Dan Milstein: “We had a highly productive meeting & several insightful phone calls w/the team & coaching staff at MSU. We are currently in the midst of a thorough process. Although there is no fixed timeline, Arty is expected to make a decision in the near future”

- DarthKane

He’s not going back to MSU, maybe a 10% chance he goes back, but I’m not a betting man.

Love Chattanooga. Minor league baseball downtown ‘AA?’ And the restaurant scene is outstanding. I like Chattanooga way better than Nashville & Knoxville. Memphis is underrated.

Next time you are in Nashville, go to The Iberian Pig. The food is way past excellent! Oh, and my nephew is the head Chef there.

Good that means Rockford great for his development send Korchinski down also pair them together and create chemistry between them. Nazar slaggert also go to the rock. Look what it did for vlasic. The rookies will tell management when they are ready.

With all the recent draft picks in Rockford, they’re going to be must watch TV for the next couple of years. Next year they’ll probably add Green, Moore, and Rinzel.
