Timothy Liljegren, signed 2x$3M by TOR, is a second-pairing two-way puck-moving defenceman. This season he proved that he could keep up his performance in a bigger role, but admittedly has not yet shown that he can do it in the playoffs as well. #LeafsForever

Graves is 6'5 and 220lbs and lacks the appropriate "snot"; he does block a lot of shots, which I guess you might expect from his size. He basically has been coached by Sullivan, Ruff and Bednar - I used to think Ruff was more of a physical defensive coach, but that's not how he'd been coaching Jersey. I don't know if he has it in him but at $2.5m on the 3rd pair I'd be willing to give it a try.

McGroaty would be a great add to the Leafs. Leafs are pretty thin on draft picks, if it could be done for Robertson plus another player or two he would fit in nicely. He's the kind of player that would make Skalapy forget he ever heard of poon Jenner.

They are thin with picks, but I'd have no problem trading the 1st for McGroarty. Between him (C/LW), Cowan (C/LW), and Grebyonkin (LW/RW) they'd be looking real good with prospects that can play LW behind Knies.
