If Savoie is such a dynamic player, it’s a huge red flag that team Canada isn’t interested in him .

Also , injuries are tough to overcome , same goes for samuelsson.

His value would be much higher if you could rely on him . Savoie is deemed unreliable

I like all of the forwards listed, but I think they’re all likely middle-six types, I don’t see the true high side in their games. With the No. 11 pick you’re probably hoping to get a player you think can be a true top-four defenseman or top-six forward on a good team. I also don’t think Savoie’s trade value is all that high in the NHL based on my survey of teams.

It's not even Pronman self scouting, it's a survey of teams that give you this ranking.

On another note, I'm not entirely sure Helenius is now ranked above Kulich and Ostlund, but his skill set, pro ready play/body and natural center position may indeed have him sitting 1st.

And furthermore, what are we looking at for the next 5 years. Who are your 9 forwards?

I think Adams saw that the team with all the same pieces was 1 point from a playoff spot and that if it worked. Don’t mess with it. Tinker it.

On the night before his NHL debut. Not just some random practice. That’s pretty telling. Imagine being late to work on your first day because you were out all night? Now imagine a team has invested so much time and capital developing you and then when you’re ready to start you’re out late the night before what should be the most important thing in your life to date?
