I wouldn’t trust UPL either. Even with his insane 2 and a half months his save percentage was still .908 or something. I have more reason to believe he is nothing more than a below to average goaltender than the stud he was for those two months. |

I don't either yet, but you don't give him a 2 year Deal |

Yeah that would take him right to UFA…1 year or trade him. But a trade makes no sense either. |

1 or 3 and hope he has a good year splitting the Net with Levi who looks to be ready to take control and then trade UPL. |

3x4m would be fair. Could go to a 4th year, maybe another .5m. That's about my limit here. I'd prefer just going one year. If he has another strong year, he'll make a little more. I can deal with that.
I don't think he has a strong arb case. Wouldn't mind just letting it go there.

Aren't the Sabres one of those teams that made a lot of moves this offseason...? - kingcong39
The Sabres I think signed the most UFAs.
Also one of the very few teams to bring in a player via trade. |

1sts are like cars - as soon as you drive it off the lot, it loses value. It's the nature of the game - Hank Balling
Let's also be real about another aspect of this: If he was 6'1 or taller, weighed 200+ pounds and had the production he did the past 2 Junior seasons while playing Center, he not only wouldn't have been traded, he'd probably have been in the NHL already.
Size still matters -- a LOT. |

Not according to NHL GM's...
>>> The hype at times was overstated on Savoie. First and foremost, his value around the league was a sign of this. Savoie was the prospect the Sabres were making available in their trade discussions. Other clubs were more interested in other prospects, including 2023 second-round pick Anton Wahlberg, but the Sabres kept coming back to Savoie as the piece. |

Kulich isn't there yet, that's the only reason he isn't here yet, hasn't developed his D game as Quick. - Buff36
A reminder to everyone that Kulich just turned 20 in April.
That means he played in the AHL during his 18 and 19 year old seasons.
His production and development during those two seasons are why so many are high on him. |

Exactly, I hope he grabs a spot. Got one of the best Wrist/Snap Shots I have ever seen. |

An arb award wouldn't be the worst thing, but usually when it gets to that point, the player is gone the following year.
I don't get why Kev leaves so much in the hands of a player. They shouldn't even be considering a long term deal. - Lunaion
I would sincerely hope he's learned to stop trying to be the nice guy to everyone and be well liked, but I doubt it. |

He could play like he does now and still be much more desirable as a prospect if he was 6'1 and 210. |

Full confidence that he will, with how young he is and what he has done already at such a young age. |

This is the least talented roster in the league. If the goal is to tank, then well done

If they get a top 6 forward.
The lineup will be very balanced.
Ruff needs to fix: tag, cozens, and tuch.
Also fix the PP
We will be good |

A lot has to still come together and how long does it take for these players to adjust to Ruff's style and the way he wants to play. Just magically not gonna happen |
