I wouldn't and don't see much upside in that particular role.

He's more of a winger than a C and he's pretty small / light.

I can't see him shutting down the other teams best player in the playoffs on a successful team.

3C is a big problem for this team right now and will probably need a trade to resolve it.

33rd in points and tied for 9th highest salary. That's very bad in a cap world with a guy who is on the wrong side of 34.

He sucks balls defensively (doesn't PK even though he could win FOs) and he's always been slower and getting slower. He is absolutely a liability defensively on the ice, see the OT game 7 winner where his neutral zone D was horrible.

He most definitely is the weakest link among the "star" players on the team and he eats up way too much cap space for his production.

Other things that I've found rad lately - Soundcore in general, but even their entry level earbuds. I got them refurbished for 50 bucks and they sound as good or better to my ears as some 200-300 pair. And the refurbished one they sent was actually a brand new unopened one so I'm stoked!

My ears are (frank)ed from excessive decibels and I'm no audiophile so ymmv.

I'm looking forward to the next exciting chapter in the great book of Leafs.
